Team Introductions

Purpose

Meet your team for Project 1 and work to find a work schedule that works for everyone. Remember, this project can be done asynchronously (you don't have to meet at the same time). But, this takes more planning and requires solid communication from everyone!

Instructions

  1. Go to your Slack private channel (you won't see this until I have assigned all the teams for Project 1).
  2. Type a short welcome message to your new team. Some things you may want to include are:
    • Something about yourself.
    • Your weekly availability.
    • Your work habits.
    • Special needs or considerations your team should know.
    • What skills do you bring to your group?
    • What are your goals (grade) for Project 1?
  3. Make sure to check back frequently to see and respond to your teammates' posts!

Submission

  1. Open the Week 2 folder in Blackboard
  2. Click on the Team Introduction submission link.
  3. In the Comments box, type Done.
  4. Click Submit.

Grading Criteria

Complete/Incomplete

This assignment will be marked as "complete" if you post a short introduction message in your private Slack channel. Include when you are available to meet on weekly bases to complete group assignments and anything else your team should know about you, your work habits, and goals for this project.

Warning

Failure to complete this assignment will disqualify you from obtaining the Teamwork Digital Badge.
