Project Discovery

Group Assignment
Figma Design

Purpose

Participate in the UX discovery phase by defining the business goals and needs for the project 1 website, including developing two user groups.

Instructions

  1. In Figma, double-click on your Project 1 Design file.
  2. Click on the 02. Project Discovery page.
  3. Complete the Business Overview, User Groups, and Participation sections for this assignment.

    • Business Overview: Think about what makes your business unique? Why would people want to visit your site over any competitor? Use this space to expand on the website description provided on the course website and document the goals, values, and services you imagine your business has. You can define and expand your business/website any way you wish as long as it says within the parameters of the original description.

    • User Groups: Think about what type of users would use your website, then define two of these groups under the User Groups section. Each user group should have a name (Group Type), unique characteristics, and goals defined.

  4. Use the Example Project provided in Figma as a guide.

  5. ❗ The Competitor Analysis portion must be completed for Project 1 in the FigJam provided for you. It is not officially due to the end of unit 1. However, I strongly recommend completing this with your group as soon as possible.
