Project 1 Swap & Review

After you turn in Project 1, you’ll have the opportunity to exchange projects with a classmate and review each other’s work. This will be anonymous, you won't know who you are reviewing and vice versa. Your completed review will be submitted only to the instructor, not to your classmate. However, if you write comments that are especially helpful, the instructor may choose to share them (anonymously) with the class or student as learning examples.

Please aim to be constructive, specific, and kind.

What You’ll Do

  • Opt in by letting me know you're interested in participating. You will opt in by answering a question in the Project 1 reflection.
  • After all Project 1 submissions are turned in, I’ll pair you with another student.
  • You’ll receive their zipped project folder and a peer review form.
  • Open and explore your peer’s website just like an instructor would.
  • Use the review form to “grade” their project and give helpful feedback.

What to Review

Download and complete the Peer Review Form form. It will guide you through checking:

  • Proper HTML structure and semantic tags
  • File names and folder organization
  • Navigation functionality
  • Use of required elements on each page
  • Clean, readable code
  • Coding Standards

You don’t need to be perfect—just honest and thoughtful.

How to Submit

Upload the peer review form in Brightspace under Challenge Submission > Project 1 Swap & Review.
